JOB DESCRIPTION 

We are looking for enthusiastic Department Managers to join the team at McDonald’s. As a 24-hour business, we can offer flexibility to suit when works for you.

Tasks & Responsibilities: 

  • Lead one of our three restaurant departments; Customer Experience, People Performance, and Product Quality, and take responsibility of the actions and results required within these.  
  • Deliver and manage outstanding Quality, Service, Cleanliness, profitability and strong people practices on your shifts 
  • Supervise employees to ensure that restaurant operations and procedures are adhered to 
  • Comply with restaurant safety and security standards to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and customers 
  • Take responsibility and ownership for ensuring food safety is maintained to the highest standard throughout the restaurant 
  • Actively seek customer feedback to ensure an exception customer experience is achieved 
  • Working within a team to deliver the best quality, fastest experience for our customers

QUALIFICATIONS 

Management experience in hospitality and retail.  Completion of McDonald’s management training program at a department level is preferable. Relevant McDonald’s department courses may be Developing the Leader in Me (DLM), previously known as IDM or ASM, or courses specific to the three departments; Customer Experience Course (CEC), People Performance Course (PPC), or Product Quality Course (PQC).  A current first aid and fire training certificate is preferable.
